Amber Marie Simler​ was a beautiful artist. She attended IU Southeast and Purdue Polytechnic Institute starting in 2018. In 2022, she was awarded a posthumous degree with distinction. Her major was in computer graphics technology.

Amber's work was displayed at IU Southeast's Annual Juried Art Exhibition in 2019.
